Saved meals keep their score, so you can reuse a meal you already know works and see the day's calories and sugar add up.
The 0–100 rating is the same six-part calculation used on every food in the app, applied to the whole plate: sugar (weighted against fiber), fiber, protein, sodium, calorie density and how processed the ingredients are. It is recalculated per 100g of the finished meal, so adding a low-calorie vegetable genuinely lifts the score while adding oil pulls it down. Nothing is hidden — the badge on each ingredient shows its own score.
Sugar impact is different from sugar grams. It is the estimated glycemic load of the full meal — net carbs multiplied by the glycemic index of each ingredient — which is why 20g of sugar from grapes and 20g from a soda do not land the same way. It is an estimate, not a glucose reading.
